PURPOSE OF THE POLICE OFFICER DEFENSE FUND INC.™
The purpose of the PODF Inc. is to provide economic support for the purchasing of safety equipment for use by law enforcement officers. Further, to achieve, through voluntary educational services, a better understanding and ability to cope with threats to Law Enforcement Officers’ safety which are encountered protecting the general public. A further purpose is to provide economic and other support to surviving family members of Law Enforcement Officers killed in the line-of-duty. Also, to educate, counsel and defend Law Enforcement Officers against civil or criminal liability resulting from serving the public and to protect the rights and benefits of Law Enforcement Officers at large. Economic support will be considered based upon written request to the Executive Board at the above address or EMAIL.
Scholarship Eligibility Change Effective January 1st, 2015
Only the children of Law Enforcement Personnel from the State of Wisconsin will be considered for Scholarship eligibility
